Our students can take advantage of several scholarships.

Colyton High School Scholarships

High School Entry Scholarships

At Colyton High School offers up to ten scholarships for students enrolling in Year 7 to assist with starting their secondary education. The scholarships will be awarded to successful students who attend one of the following schools:

  • Bennett Road Public School
  • St Marys Central Public School
  • Colyton Public School
  • St Marys South Public School
  • Oxley Park Public School

Successful students will receive their scholarship prize on Orientation Day, 2 December 2025 at Colyton High School. The Scholarship value is in excess of $400.00.

Senior Pathways and Koori Senior Pathways Scholarship

Colyton High School is offering 3 x $1,000 Senior Pathways Scholarships and 1 x $1,000 Koori Senior Pathways Scholarship to students enrolled in Year 11 commencing in 2026, to assist with their education. Additionally, the school subject contributions and general contributions will be waived. The $1000 scholarship will be announced towards the end of Term 4, 2025 and scholarship payment will be distributed in Term 1, 2026, at the discretion of the principal, to students who remain at this school.

The application criteria are:

  1. Demonstrated commitment to achieving your personal best.
  2. Demonstrated commitment to Colyton High School values – Safe Respectful Learner.
  3. Demonstrated sustained effort in all subject areas.
  4. Demonstrated contribution to the school and/or community.

Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must complete the 2026 Senior Pathways and Koori Senior Pathways Scholarship application and submit it to the front office by 3 pm on Monday 24 November 2025.

Other Scholarships on offer

AVCAT Scholarships

Applications for scholarships open each year on 18 August and close on 31 October.

AVCAT scholarships include Long Tan Bursaries and Sponsored Scholarships.

Long Tan Bursaries are for the children and grandchildren of Vietnam Veterans and are funded by the Australian Government Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). Each year 37 bursaries are awarded to successful applicants across Australia.

All bursaries and sponsored scholarships are for tertiary education and are $4000-$6000 per year, for up to three years.
